Salary: £43,000 – £45,000 + Overtime

Full-Time | On-Call 1 in 10

We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established nationwide facilities management company. The role will cover Glasgow and Aberdeen, working across a range of commercial sites including offices, industrial units, retail premises and student accommodation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Planned preventative and reactive maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Fault-finding, servicing and repairs on VRV/VRF, split systems, AHUs and heat recovery units.
- Pressure testing, leak detection and refrigerant-related work in line with F-Gas regulations.
- Maintenance of commercial refrigeration equipment, including cold rooms and ice machines.
- Electrical fault-finding on HVAC controls, wiring and control panels.
- Complete service reports and maintenance records.
- Liaise with customers, site managers and contractors.
- Assist with mechanical and plumbing works where required.
- Ensure all work meets Health & Safety and industry standards.
- F-Gas Category I – City & Guilds 2079-11 or equivalent.
- Recognised Refrigeration & Air Conditioning qualification, such as SVQ Install, Commission and Maintain Air Conditioning Systems – SCQF Level 6.
- Recognised Refrigeration & Air Conditioning qualification, such as City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
- Commercial or facilities maintenance experience.
- Good knowledge of HVAC and M&E building services.
- Experience with air conditioning, heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
- Good Health & Safety awareness.
- £43,000 – £45,000
