Lift Installation Engineer – Glasgow. Otis is growing and is looking for an installation professional to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely installing a portfolio of elevator and escalator units. • Install new elevators to market-leading standards, quality and efficiencies.
• Work in a safe manner in accordance with Environmental Health & Safety guidelines.
• Travel to various customer sites and stay overnight when required.
• Work with and support the customer while on site.
• Conduct inspections before and after installation to ensure high quality and safety standards.

• As a qualified mechanic, you have knowledge of elevator equipment and can apply elevator engineering principles to installation.
• You are qualified to install elevators to the standards set in your country.
• You hold a driver's license and have access to your own vehicle.
• You have at least 6 months of experience in the field of elevators, ideally gained in assembly activity or on-site installation.
• You have good electrical and mechanical skills.
• You are comfortable with plan reading and calculations.
• You have an appetite for technical products and new technologies.
• You appreciate manual trades as well as the satisfaction of seeing finished work.
