Full-Time, Monday–Friday (Regular overtime & weekend call-outs required)

The Role We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Conveyor Belt Fitter to install, splice, and maintain industrial flat PVC/PU and plastic modular belting on-site at customer facilities across Central Scotland and beyond. You will be responding to breakdown calls, completing planned maintenance, and installing new belting systems.

• Carry out on-site installation, hot press vulcanizing, and mechanical jointing/splicing of PVC/PU and modular conveyor belts.
• Troubleshoot, track, and repair mechanical belt issues on active customer production lines.
• Perform site surveys and accurate measuring for new or replacement belt orders.
• Maintain clear communication with workshop control and site managers to complete jobs safely and efficiently.
• Participate in on-call breakdown coverage and overtime work as required by production emergencies.

  Experience:
  
  Proven track record in conveyor belt fitting, mechanical maintenance, or field service engineering.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Familiarity with belt vulcanizing presses, mechanical fasteners, and hand tools.
• Clean Driving License:
  Full UK driving license required to operate the company vehicle across sites.
• Flexibility:
  Comfortable with early starts, overtime, and occasional emergency call-outs.
• Safety First:
  Strong awareness of health and safety protocols in busy factory and food-grade production environments
