Salary from £45,000, with a higher salary available depending on experience, qualifications and level of responsibility
Aventus Eco is looking for an experienced Renewable Energy Electrician to join our growing team on a full time, permanently employed basis.
We design and install air source heat pumps, solar PV systems and battery storage systems across the Central Belt of Scotland.
We are not like many renewable companies operating in the industry.
We do not rush installations, overload the diary or expect our team to work until 9pm every night just to squeeze as many jobs as possible into the week. Every project is given the time it needs to be completed properly, safely and to the high standard our customers expect.
Aventus Eco was named Best Installer in Scotland for 2026. That recognition reflects the quality of our designs, installations, customer service and the people who make up our team.
We are now looking for the right electrician to become an important part of that team.
The roleThe successful candidate will be responsible for the electrical installation, testing and commissioning of:
- Battery storage systems
- Inverters and associated generation equipment
- EPS and whole house backup systems
- Consumer unit alterations and upgrades
- Generation meters and isolators
- Heating controls and heat pump wiring
- EV charging equipment where required
- Electrical testing, certification and commissioning
You will work closely with our heating engineers, solar installers and design team to complete high quality renewable installations from start to finish.
All of our work is spread across the Central Belt. We are not looking for someone to spend their working week travelling to every corner of Scotland or regularly staying away from home.
Most of our installations are carried out in occupied homes, so good communication, attention to detail and respect for the customer’s property are essential.
Who we are looking forWe are looking for more than someone who can simply complete the electrical work.
We want a genuine team player who is reliable, hardworking and willing to support the rest of the installation team.
The right person will take pride in their work, communicate properly and understand that the finished installation represents everyone at Aventus Eco.
You must be comfortable taking responsibility for your own work while also working closely with heating engineers, roofers, designers and office staff.
Being part of Aventus Eco means being part of a company with a strong reputation and exceptionally high standards. We have worked hard to build that reputation, and joining the team comes with the responsibility of maintaining it on every installation.
