Our portfolio of equipment includes commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Commercial Refrigeration Engineer with a strong foundation in refrigeration systems with a desire to develop their knowledge and progress into an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer role. This position offers structured on-the-job training and development opportunities working alongside experienced industrial engineers on ammonia, CO₂, and HFC refrigeration systems used in large-scale facilities.

How you will do itAs the direct contact with the client for site technical service and maintenance issues, you will be initially responsible for troubleshooting and resolving commercial refrigeration systems within a set timeframe and according to a defined process, service agreement and customer needs. In addition you will work alongside experienced industrial refrigeration engineers and develop knowledge in industrial systems to provide service and maintenance.
This is a mobile position, Monday – Friday with stand by 1 in 5. Health and Safety will be at the forefront of everything you do. Although often working without accompaniment you will be part of a team and contribute towards its success.
What we look for
• You will have an F-GAS 2079 card. CO₂, A2L, HC an advantage.
• Ideally served a refrigeration apprenticeship.
• Ideally hold a recognised refrigeration qualification; C&G etc.
• Experience in working with a variety of commercial refrigeration systems.
• Understands and analyses relevant technical documents such as electrical schemes, fluid schemes, piping diagrams, psychometric diagrams, etc.
• Full UK driving license
• Capable of working without documented procedures and with limited supervision.
• A proactive mindset to provide the highest level of service to our customers.
• A committed can do positive attitude with the ability to integrate and work as a member of a team.
