Glasgow Pay / salary: £50,669 Basic Bonus Overtime at £36.54ph Company Van Fuel Card Tools Provide OTE up to £57,000 Job type:
Permanent / Full-time role Job Shift and schedule for the Roadside Technician role Monday Sunday, 40 hours per week averaged over the year, between 6am and 2am, occasional overnight stay. Rest and recovery provided (11 hours of rest between shifts & a minimum of 2 days off every fortnight) (could be 9am 5pm or 11am 7pm etc, shifts vary. Shift hours may be reduced or withdrawn with a days notice, so its important that you can be adaptable.
Shifts may start early, finish late, or fall on any day of the week. Thats the Superflex commitment. Benefits for the for the Roadside Technician role Overtime 300 overtime hours per year equates to an extra £12,000 per annum. Bonus scheme. 23 days plus bank holidays (rising to 25 with service). Up to 6.5% matched pension contributions. Life Insurance cover up to 4x your salary.

Job Responsibilities for the Roadside Technician role Attend roadside breakdowns and assess vehicle faults quickly and accurately. Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs at the roadside, including battery replacements, wheel changes, and minor engine fixes. Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine repair options. Provide temporary solutions when full repair isnt possible, ensuring member mobility. Advise members clearly on next steps, including recovery if needed.
Work safely and efficiently in varied environments and conditions. What youll need to a be considered for the Roadside Technician role Must have a minimum of a Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair, ideally Level 3 but will consider level 2. (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent) Must have a minimum 2-year post-qualification hands on experience with vehicles.
Either in a workshop or mobile vehicle type role.
