The Role
- Supervise electrical installation and maintenance works across rail projects
- Lead and coordinate electrical site teams and subcontractors
- Ensure works are delivered safely and in line with RAMS, drawings and specifications
- Monitor progress and ensure works remain on programme
- Coordinate labour, materials, plant and equipment
- Carry out site inspections and monitor quality
- Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, clients and other contractors
- Support testing, commissioning and handover activities
- Ensure compliance with relevant rail, electrical and health & safety standards
- Promote a strong safety culture across site
- Proven experience supervising electrical works within the rail industry
- Strong understanding of the rail environment and electrical infrastructure
- Experience managing site teams and subcontractors
- Confident reading electrical drawings and working to RAMS
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Able to manage programmes, resources and competing priorities
- PTS essential
- Relevant electrical qualification required
- 18th Edition / SMSTS / SSSTS desirable
