The company is seeking a motivated and reliable Assistant Steel Erector to join their on-site team. This role would be ideal for someone with construction or steelwork experience, but we welcome applicants who may have limited experience but are keen to develop a trade. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to working safely and professionally are essential. You will work alongside experienced steel erectors, supporting day-to-day installation activities and gaining practical knowledge across a range of residential and commercial projects.

• Assist with erecting structural steel frames, beams, columns, and associated components
• Support senior erectors with bolting, bracing, and secondary steel installation
• Help organise tools, equipment, and materials on site
• Learn to read and understand fabrication drawings and site plans
• Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a tidy working environment
• Take instruction well and gradually build confidence in managing tasks independently

• Some construction or steelwork experience beneficial, but not essential
• A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a proactive "can-do" attitude are key requirements
• Comfortable working at height and outdoors in all weathers
• Able to work well within a team and follow direction
• Full UK driving licence essential
• CSCS and other site qualifications can be obtained while in the role
