Responsibilities

  • Working in a standard cost environment.
  • Implementing and/or controlling:
    • Bills of material.
    • Routings.
    • Automated labor tracking.
    • Inventory valuation/control.
    • Labor & overhead rate analysis.
    • Product costing.
    • Variance analysis.
  • Coordination and management of costing system at multiple locations.
  • Traveling to other locations and corporate headquarters as required.
  • Directly managing multi-department process, including accounting, engineering, sales, manufacturing, purchasing.
    • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of accounting/finance experience with major emphasis on cost accounting, working in a standard cost environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with, and take charge of, a multi‑person team.
  • Work experience in a manufacturing company, preferably specializing in metal fabrication.
  • Experience in industrial engineering desirable.
