Cost Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:

• Working in a standard cost environment
• Implementing and/or controlling:
• Bills of material
• Shop floor control
• Routings
• Automated labor tracking
• Inventory valuation/control
• Labor & overhead rate analysis
• Product costing
• Variance analysis
• Financial reporting
• Coordination and management of costing system at multiple locations
• Traveling to other locations and corporate headquarters as required
• Directly managing multi-department process, including accounting, engineering, sales, manufacturing, purchasing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5 + years of accounting/finance experience, with major emphasis on cost accounting, working in a standard cost environment.
• Ability to collaborate with, and take charge of a multi-person team.
• Work experience in a manufacturing company, preferably specializing in metal fabrication.
• Experience in industrial engineering desirable
