** Job Overview
** Lead NJCAP Facilitator is responsible for planning and implementing NJCAP programs in schools and communities. They serve in a leadership customer service role to ensure positive relationships in interactions with all schools and the community. They provide supervision to a team of NJCAP facilitators who will provide NJCAP workshops to parents, school staff, and youth and implement curricula with fidelity.

This position serves in a dual capacity as both a Lead Facilitator and Facilitator.
** Program Info
** The New Jersey Child Assault Prevention (NJCAP) training program aims to reduce children’s vulnerability to abuse, neglect, and bullying. NJCAP utilizes a prevention-focused, empowerment-based approach in schools, helping children recognize and avoid potentially dangerous situations through interactive, age-appropriate workshops. Parents, caregivers, and school personnel are also participants in the training.  
** Lead Facilitator

Key Responsibilities:

*** Program Planning and Implementation:
Implements NJCAP program within schools and communities, tailoring them to local needs and aligning them with the NJ4S Hub plan.
* Supervision and Leadership:
Supervises a team of facilitators, providing guidance, support, and ensuring the quality of their work, including training and workshops.
* Ensures that all NJCAP presentations and activities are implemented with fidelity, meaning they follow established guidelines and best practices.
* School Partnerships:
Establishes and maintains relationships with various organizations (schools, preschools, etc.) to create a network of support for NJCAP efforts.
* Data Collection and Reporting:
Assists with data collection, reporting, analysis, evaluation, and quality improvement processes related to intervention and prevention activities.
* Customer Service:
Serves as a role model for positive interactions with all participants, including students, families, and community members.
* Training and Workshops:
May be involved in delivering training sessions, workshops, and presentations on NJCAP topics.

* Collaboration:

Works with school districts, community service providers, and other stakeholders to facilitate the NJCAP program.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
** Facilitator

Key Responsibilities:

*** Facilitate student workshops in schools according to the NJCAP curriculum.
* Host school staff and parent/caregiver programs to introduce and explain NJCAP’s strategies and child protection concepts.
* Engage students through role-plays, discussions, and activities tailored to developmental levels.
* Create safe space for students to raise questions about the information presented, discuss situational problems, or disclose reportable matters involving abuse, neglect, and/or bullying.
* Partner with school staff to report concerns of maltreatment to the State Central Registry (SCR) at the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P).
* Collaborate with other facilitators to plan and present cohesive programs.
