The Accounting and Finance Department is searching for adjunct instructors in finance. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in finance, primarily in a traditional classroom (in-person) format. Areas of instruction may include corporate finance, investments, financial planning and CFP‑related topics, and Fin Tech, including digital assets, cryptocurrency and blockchain applications.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate finance courses in a traditional classroom setting.
- Integrate current industry practices, emerging financial technologies, and applied financial analysis into instruction.
- Develop and deliver engaging course materials and assessments.
- Master’s degree in finance, MBA, or closely related discipline.
- Substantial current professional experience in accounting or finance.
- Professional certification (CFP, CFA, FRM, CAIA) and daytime availability is advantageous.
- Prior college teaching, corporate training, or professional instructional experience preferred.
Adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned by College & Department on an as‑needed basis.
