Application is invited for multiple adjunct faculty positions with the College of Engineering at Rowan University. Successful candidates must have a commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level. An MS degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field is required for appointment; a PhD is preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills are expected.
Teaching Areas: Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Mechanical Design, Strength of Materials, Dynamic Systems & Control.
Compensation and Benefits:
Adjuncts are paid a minimum of $1,975 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Positions are contingent upon budget appropriations.
