Non‑Tenure Track Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor‑Faculty Position

Department of Marketing & Business Information Systems, Rohrer College of Business, Rowan University is seeking a non‑tenure track teaching professor in Information Systems & Analytics (ISA) with an appointment to begin September 1, 2026.

The role includes teaching undergraduate business technology fundamentals and additional ISA courses, available in person or online. Candidates must be available to teach day or evening classes. Successful candidates will also provide substantive service contributions to undergraduate and graduate programs and participate in professional development to stay current in content area and evidence‑based instructional approaches.

Responsibilities:

• Teach the college’s undergraduate business technology fundamentals course and other ISA courses as assigned.
• Provide meaningful and substantive service contributions to undergraduate and graduate programs, the department, college, and university.
• Participate in professional development to stay current in the content area and evidence‑based instructional approaches.
• Support the department’s mission to prepare students for careers in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Qualifications:

• PhD or professional equivalent in information systems, information systems and analytics, information technology, or a closely related field.
• Relevant industry experience preferred.
• Experienced in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.
• Committed to inclusive teaching and mentoring practices.
• Legally authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship provided.

The appointment is 10‑month, full‑time, non‑tenure track. Successful candidates will teach 24 credits over two semesters, with option to teach overload and summer classes for additional compensation.
