The Department of Social Work at Rowan University is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach Bachelor’s and Master’s level generalist courses, including courses in practice, policy, research, clinical/mental health, and our specialization in Mental Health, Equity, and Well‑being. Adjunct faculty may teach up to two courses per semester based on scheduling needs.

• BSW Introduction to Social Work – Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
• MSW Research Methods – 3:30 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.; 5:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.; 6:30 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.

• MSW and minimum two years of practice experience required.
• DSW or Ph.D. in Social Work or related discipline and college‑level teaching experience preferred.

Adjunct faculty are paid a minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year.
