The Diversity and Inclusion Master’s Degree program at Rowan University seeks qualified adjunct faculty to teach a graduate capstone seminar for students completing the master’s degree program. This course provides an integrative and practical learning experience where faculty will serve as a mentor and guide for students to complete an original and impactful community project that reflects and upholds the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Responsibilities- Teach the graduate capstone seminar to students in the program.
- Mentor and guide students in designing, executing, and presenting an original community project.
- Develop course materials, assessments, and project guidelines in alignment with program goals.
- Provide constructive feedback on students’ research designs, data collection, and analysis.
- Master’s degree in social science or related field with practical experience in applied qualitative research.
- At least two years of experience with the design, analysis, and presentation of participatory research projects that integrate the voices and positions of diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in the use of qualitative research in a variety of organizational structures.
- Eligibility to work in the United States; U.S. visa sponsorship not provided.

Salary & BenefitsIn compliance with the State of New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Act, adjuncts receive a minimum of $2,225 per credit. The maximum teaching load is eight credits per semester and twelve credits in an academic year. Courses are assigned by College & Department on an as‑needed basis. Rowan University offers a comprehensive benefits package to staff and faculty, including health, dental, vision, tuition benefits, and paid time off.
