Position OverviewThe Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) at Rowan University is seeking adjunct faculty with a strong interest and qualified expertise in teaching topics in Biomedical Engineering.
BME’s strengths include relatively small class sizes, strong student‑faculty interactions, and a collaborative and supportive working and learning environment. Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree and an advanced degree (or equivalent experience) in an engineering discipline.
- Prior teaching experience preferred.

In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act and the current memorandum of agreement, adjuncts receive a minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught. The maximum teaching load is 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses are assigned by College & Department on an as‑needed basis.
