Overview:
The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Rowan University seeks energetic and innovative Adjunct Professors to teach in our Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Electrical Engineering Technology programs. We value hands-on, project-based learning and seek candidates who can contribute to innovative courses and experiential learning activities.

• Teach innovative, project-based courses primarily in electrical and computer engineering and electrical engineering technology programs.
• Teach core or elective courses depending on the applicant’s area of expertise.
• Develop and deliver course content, labs, and experiential learning activities using modern tools and techniques.
• Integrate projects and hands-on activities into the course objectives and assessments.

• Earned at least a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Industry and/or academic experience is encouraged.
• Ability to teach in a project-based environment and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• 10 years or more of relevant industry experience may, in some cases, be used in lieu of the Master’s degree.

• Part-time, non-tenure-track appointment with renewable contracts contingent on performance, departmental needs, and budget approvals.

• Statement of teaching interests, including courses the applicant feels qualified to teach and teaching philosophy
