Rowan University's Journalism Department is seeking qualified adjuncts to teach undergraduate courses as part of our Sports Communication & Media program in the following areas:

  • Sports Journalism
  • Sports Betting
  • Sports Broadcasting
  • Sports Analytics/Data
  • Social Media Sports Communication
  • Sports Law
  • Sports Branding and Fan Relations
  • Sports Leadership

Qualified candidates should have a master's degree in a related field and relevant professional or academic experience. A track record of successful teaching is desirable. All courses will be taught on the main campus in Glassboro, New Jersey. Ability to teach during the day is preferred.

  • Two previous teaching evaluations, if available
  • Unofficial transcript from highest degree

Salary: Minimum $2,225 per credit (after 9/1/2026), with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits per academic year. Courses will be assigned to instructors by College or Department on an as‑needed basis.

Notes: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; the university will not sponsor a work visa for this position.
