We are seeking adjunct faculty with a strong interest and qualified expertise in teaching introductory engineering and engineering design courses. The Department of Experiential Engineering Education (ExEEd) at Rowan University anticipates needs for the First‑Year and Sophomore Engineering Clinics in upcoming semesters. These are hands‑on, multidisciplinary engineering courses taught in a team‑based, project‑oriented learning environment.

Responsibilities include teaching introductory engineering courses, preparing and delivering course content, evaluating student performance, and fostering a collaborative learning environment. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to student learning and well‑being and promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Qualifications require a Master of Science degree in an engineering discipline or a closely related field. Prior teaching experience is preferred. Candidates from diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged.

Pay
Adjunct faculty receive a minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits per academic year.
