Position: PRESCHOOL PRE-K LEAD TEACHER

Full-Time Pre-K Lead Teacher Wanted

We're looking for a Full-Time Pre-K Lead Teacher to join our team at Glassboro Child Development Centers. This position is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom where children can learn through play while reaching important developmental milestones.

Schedule

Monday through Friday 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts) Non-Exempt Position

Position begins August 31, 2026

Pay

Starting at $20.65 per hour - Up to $826 per week Paid bi-weekly

What You'll Do

  • Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and activities.
  • Foster children's social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive development.
  • Create a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
  • Build positive relationships with children and their families.
  • Provide active supervision during indoor and outdoor activities.
  • Observe, assess, and document children's progress.
  • Mentor Assistant Teachers and support classroom volunteers.
  • Participate in parent conferences, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development.
  • Help maintain classroom materials and learning spaces.
  • Assist children with toileting and personal care routines as needed.

What We're Looking For

Experience

  • Three years of experience working with young children preferred.

Education

  • CDA, Associate Degree, or at least 60 college credits preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain).

We're looking for someone who is patient, energetic, dependable, and passionate about helping children succeed. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a positive attitude are a must!
