Full-Time Preschool Site Director Wanted
Glassboro Child Development Centers (GCDC) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Preschool Site Director to lead and oversee our Main Street Preschool location. The Site Director will be responsible for ensuring high-quality programming, supporting and developing staff, engaging families, and maintaining compliance with licensing and quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, experience supervising staff in an early childhood setting, and a passion for creating a positive learning environment for children, families, and employees.

Start Date:
August 31, 2026 Salary: $55,000 annually
Schedule:
Full-time position;
Monday–Friday with occasional evening/weekend availability as needed to support agency goals.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in an early childhood environment.
Education/Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Education, or a related field.
Licensing/Transportation
- Valid New Jersey driver's license.
- Reliable access to an automobile and valid auto insurance.
Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of child development, early childhood curriculum, and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Experience with team management, staff coaching, and parent relationship building.
- Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives and continuous improvement practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, staff, and community partners.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential job functions, including lifting up to 20 pounds and participating in activities within classroom and outdoor environments.
Professional Development
- Completion of 20 hours of relevant annual professional development training.
General Responsibilities
- Manage programs and services that support children's learning, attendance, social-emotional development, and physical development.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate programming to ensure compliance with Office of Licensing requirements and agency quality standards.
- Ensure staff follow agency policies, procedures, and operational expectations.
- Collect, maintain, and report student data and information required for program evaluation and grant reporting.
- Manage program materials, supplies, and purchasing processes while ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in employee interviews, hiring, onboarding, and staff retention efforts.
- Provide direct supervision, coaching, and support to staff, volunteers, and consultants.
- Create and support professional development opportunities for team members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families and community partners.
- Maintain regular communication with program and administrative staff regarding operations, concerns, and successes.
- Facilitate staff meetings and participate in leadership meetings, including Child Care Success Academy activities.
- Participate in agency strategic planning initiatives.
- Communicate concerns, recommendations, and operational updates to the Executive Director.
