Overview
The Diversity and Inclusion Master’s Degree program at Rowan University seeks qualified adjunct faculty to teach a graduate capstone seminar for students completing the master’s degree program. This course provides an integrative and practical learning experience where faculty will serve as a mentor and guide for students to complete an original and impactful community project that reflects and upholds the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

QualificationsMaster’s degree in social science or related field with practical experience in applied qualitative research. The candidate will preferably have at least two years of experience with the design, analysis, and presentation of participatory research projects that integrate the voices and positions of diverse stakeholders as well as experience in the use of qualitative research in a variety of organizational structures.

EligibilityCandidates must be eligible to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor a visa for this position.
CompensationIn compliance with The State of New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Act, adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as‑needed basis.
