Web Operations Specialist , Division of Marketing & Communication

Rowan University is hiring a Web Operations Specialist (PSS1) in the Division of Marketing & Communication. The role involves managing and maintaining the infrastructure and operations of the university's websites, including server administration, ensuring optimal performance of CMS and web servers, and collaborating with multiple teams to implement industry web standards and support various university projects.

• Configure and maintain Rowan's CMS and web server cluster for optimal performance.
• Manage server performance issues and outages promptly.
• Build and support development, staging, and test environments aligned with production systems.
• Collaborate with developers, departments, and external vendors on projects.
• Liaise for university-wide web operations and participate in Change Management meetings.
• Address security vulnerabilities in coordination with the Information Security Office.
• Maintain technical documentation of backend processes and manage concurrent projects.
• Required skills include LAMP stack administration, Linux server management, regular expressions, CI/CD pipelines with Git/Git Hub, and familiarity with CMS like Cascade, Drupal, or Word Press.
• Required qualifications include a master’s degree in a relevant field plus 5-7 years of related professional experience.
• The salary range is $85,550.86 to $98,388.88 annually, with benefits including health, dental, retirement plans, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.
