Maintenance Technician

We are a real estate management company responsible for the repairs and maintenance of multiple commercial and residential properties including group homes for adults with developmental disabilities. Our team plays a crucial role in ensuring these properties remain safe, comfortable, and well-maintained. We are seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician / Handyman who is a truejack-of-all-tradesand can independently troubleshoot and complete a wide range of repairs.

The Maintenance Technician will work together with our management team to handle day-to-day repair requests, preventive maintenance, and small projects across several of our properties. The ideal candidate is experienced, adaptable, professional, and able to diagnose and resolve issues with minimal oversight.

• Perform general handyman and property maintenance tasks across multiple properties
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues (switches, outlets, fixtures, breakers)
• Complete drywall
  , spackle
  , patching
  , and painting work
• Light carpentry and framing repairs (trim, doors, hardware, cabinets, shelves)
• Minor HVAC troubleshooting (minor duct repair, filters, thermostats, basic unit checks)
• Basic tiling
  , caulking, and grout repairs
• Exterior home repairs, gutter cleaning, basic siding work
• Basic landscaping
  , yard cleanup, and snow removal
• Communicate effectively with management regarding completed work and future needs

• 3–5+ years of general maintenance, handyman, or commercial/residential repair experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple trades
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks
• A clean background check

• Certifications in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or similar trades

• Full-time (Monday–Friday)
• Occasional after-hours or weekend emergencies (not often but possible)
