Van Driver

Van Driver – 4 Positions (Gloucester & Cape May County)

As a Van Driver, you will safely transport clients to and from the program while adhering to all traffic laws and maintaining scheduled routes. You will assist with vehicle upkeep to ensure reliability and cleanliness and supervise passengers during transport to promote a safe and supportive environment.

The Partial Care program assists individuals with severe and persistent mental illness to develop the skills and support necessary to live, learn and work with the least amount of intervention from the behavioral health system. The program offers comprehensive, individualized, and quality behavioral health treatment within a group setting designed to promote maximum independence in the least restrictive setting.

• Transport clients to and from the program while observing all traffic regulations and planning, scheduling, and routing trips.
• Assist in van maintenance and upkeep to ensure reliability and cleanliness.
• Provide supervision to passengers to ensure a safe environment during transport.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Sensitive, flexible, and responsive to gender, race, ethnicity, socio-economic status, religion, age, sexual orientation, or other special needs to communicate with staff and/or clients.
• Vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.
• Occasional physical requirements: stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk to hear; taste or smell.

• Hourly Rate: $15.92.
• Sign‑on Bonus: $200.
• Schedule:
  
  Afternoons and Evenings.
• Bilingual Rate:
  Additional $1.50/hour if Spanish proficient.

• 401(k) with 100% employer match on the first 5% of compensation.
