, a growing dental implant and fixed‑prosthesis center, is looking for a skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at our new office in Hartford, CT
. We provide implants and full mouth restorations to our patients, literally changing their lives. Our top priority is the satisfaction and well‑being of our patients. At Nuvia, our Anesthesiologists are efficient with their time, self‑motivated, and always put patient safety as the top priority. An ideal candidate has experience practicing independently and with nasal intubations; however, we are willing to train the right candidate. Our Anesthesiologists are respected leaders in the Center, which has a positive, engaging culture. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work autonomously in partnership with the Oral Surgeon.
Scheduleand Compensation
- 2 days per week (predictable schedule: 2‑day split Monday/Tuesday or Wednesday/Thursday)
- No nights, weekends, call or holidays
- Great work/life balance:
Independent Contractor / 1099 - Daily guarantee, whether you work or not
- Hourly rate: $350, negotiable based on market
- Guaranteed daily rate (whether you work or not)
- Most importantly, you get to be part of delivering final‑caliber implants next‑day (NO TEMPS!!)
- Board Certified in Anesthesia
- Current state medical license
- Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance.
- Experience with dental anesthesia is helpful
- Administer anesthesia with nasal intubation for full‑mouth dental implants in an office‑based setting.
- Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop, and implement anesthesia plans.
- Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines.
- Perform pre‑operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks.
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses, and any adverse events.
- Stay up to date with evidence‑based research in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment.
