Job Description
The Mechanical Engineer will support the Senior Project Engineer by preparing design changes for FAA parts and assisting in the development of the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing design changes for FAA parts.
* Support the development of the manufacturing process.
* Work collaboratively with the engineering team to redesign and reverse engineer legacy parts.
* Troubleshoot and resolve design and manufacturing issues.
* Contribute to project design and execution.
Essential Skills
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, Design, and Project work.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
* Proficiency in 3D CAD, preferably Solid Works.
* Strong understanding of Aerospace Manufacturing processes.
* Ability to identify non-conformances in design.
Additional
Skills & Qualifications
* Experience in CAD design, Aerospace Engineering, and 3D modeling.
* Experience in reverse engineering and redesign of legacy parts.
Work Environment
The company offers a 'Small Company Environment, Big Company Impact' experience. With core working hours from 9 AM to 3 PM, there is flexibility in start and end times. Occasionally, longer hours may be required, with many Senior-level personnel working up to 11 hours a day. The company promotes a work hard, play hard culture, with quarterly outings and a major trip around the holidays.
Bonuses are also distributed during the holiday season. The engineering team operates in small groups similar to Aerotek Triangles, ensuring a collaborative work environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
