Your Role

Join a forward‑thinking outpatient rehab team where your compassion, clinical skill, and adaptability make a difference across multiple communities. This Float Physical Therapist Assistant role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, autonomy within scope, and meaningful patient interactions.

Flexible, Balanced Schedule
  • Monday–Friday, no weekends or major holidays

Variety Across High‑Performing Clinics

You’ll rotate across several OAH outpatient locations, including Farmington, Glastonbury, Plainville, South Windsor, Enfield, and Rocky Hill

Your Impact As a Physical Therapist Assistant, You Will
  • Provide skilled therapeutic interventions as established in the PT’s plan of care
  • Deliver treatments to improve strength, mobility, motor control, balance, gait, and functional independence
  • Educate patients and families regarding exercise programs, precautions, and recovery expectations
  • Monitor and document patient progress and communicate observations to supervising PTs
  • Support patient motivation, safety, and long‑term wellbeing

You’ll make a direct, meaningful difference in helping patients return to daily activities, work, and the recreational pursuits they love.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Active Connecticut PTA license (or eligibility)
  • Strong interest in orthopedic rehabilitation
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
