With two branches, Lotus Behavioral Consultation focuses on adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities, offering services in Applied Behavior Analysis, Positive Behavioral Supports, and training programs, while Lotus Family Behavioral Services specializes in supporting children and youth on the Autism Spectrum with family-focused ABA services.
Established in 2017 and 2019, respectively, these branches aim to deliver customized care through in-person and virtual methods. Lotus works across various settings, including Residential Programs, Community Companion Homes, and Day Programs, making critical impacts through compassionate, evidence-based practices.
This is a part-time on-site role based in Glastonbury, CT. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will conduct assessments, design behavior intervention plans, and oversee their implementation. You will provide training and supervision to Behavior Technicians and educate parents or caregivers to ensure treatment consistency. The BCBA will monitor and evaluate the progress of clients and adjust plans as needed to achieve treatment goals tailored to each individual's needs.
This role requires collaborative work in diverse environments including community settings, and family homes.
- Proficiency in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies
- Strong skills in Parent Education and Behavior Management strategies
- Background knowledge in Psychology or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in developing behavior intervention plans and supervising their application
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with families, staff, and community partners
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and state licensure in Connecticut
- Experience in Autism, developmental disabilities, or related areas, with an understanding of trauma-informed care
