District Shift Leader

• Participate in a targeted General Manager development plan
• Perform management duties at a home location
• Support other bakeries in the market as needed
• Travel among area bakeries to gain independence and learn from additional leaders
• Lead to the General Manager standard in the absence of the General Manager
• Lead by example and act as a brand ambassador
• Provide ongoing coaching and training for teams
• Work across different roles each shift to ensure high-quality food and beverages
• Maintain a safe and clean store environment
• Learn and perform inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management
• Develop skills in P&L analysis, achieving food cost and labor targets, scheduling, and recruiting quality team members

• Must be at least 18 years old to apply
• Minimum 30 hours/week required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including early hours and weekends, starting as early as 3am
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must possess a current, valid driver’s license
• Must complete Bagel Brands Serv Safe Certification program by the end of the GM development plan if not already certified
• Expected to fill in for General Managers at other locations within the market
• Expected to accept a permanent General Manager promotion within the market when available; specific location is not guaranteed

Demonstrates strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on team development, operational excellence, and financial analysis. Proficient in inventory tracking, cash management, and maintaining a safe store environment.
