Join a team dedicated to delivering exceptional oncology care in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. As an Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) in our Outpatient Infusion Center
, you will play a vital role in administering life-saving treatments, supporting patients through every stage of their cancer journey, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team committed to clinical excellence. Through Trinity Health Of New England's collaboration with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
, you'll have access to nationally recognized oncology expertise, advanced treatment protocols, educational resources, and opportunities to help shape the future of cancer care in our region.

What You'll Do
  • Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and supportive infusion therapies in an outpatient setting.
  • Assess, monitor, and educate oncology patients throughout treatment, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
  • Collaborate with oncologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and support staff to develop individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patients for treatment-related side effects and adverse reactions, providing timely interventions.
  • Deliver compassionate patient and family education regarding treatment plans, symptom management, and survivorship resources.
  • Maintain accurate documentation utilizing electronic medical record systems and clinical applications.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient safety, outcomes, and experience.
  • Advocate for patients while fostering a culture of teamwork, respect, and excellence.
Qualifications Required
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
  • Current Connecticut RN license.
  • BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
Preferred
  • Oncology nursing experience in infusion, ambulatory, medical oncology, hematology, or acute care settings.
  • OCN® certification or willingness to pursue certification.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of RN experience preferred.
  • Experience administering chemotherapy and biotherapy preferred.
