Overview
Responsible for supervisory and specialized work in the management and operation of town aquatics facilities. Assists the Aquatics Director in the coordination of a comprehensive aquatics program including swim lessons. This position must be available for weekend and weeknight hours.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for supervisory and specialized work in the management and operation of town aquatics facilities. Assists the Aquatics Director in the coordination of a comprehensive aquatics program including swim lessons. Responsible for the coordination of pre-season and weekly/monthly in-service training programs.
Qualifications- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of swim instruction and/or lifeguard experience
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience of aquatics staff
- American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid
- American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor
