College Access Manager

Location:

Glen Allen, VA (Innsbrook) | Full-time (In-person with 1-2 remote days a week)

Reports To:

Senior Director of Programs
Salary Range: $45,000–$52,000

us as a College Access Manager and play a hands-on role in shaping the futures of first-generation and
high-achieving students across the Richmond region.

About Us

Partnership for the Future is a college access and success program serving more than 500 students each
year. Our mission is to prepare high‑achieving high school students for success in college and beyond.
PFF primarily serves first‑generation, low‑income students, and our comprehensive year‑round program
ensures students have the tools and confidence to graduate from college with a launching pad into
successful careers.

What You’ll Do

As College Access Manager, you will:

  • Coach 70-80 high school students build a strong college resume, identify top-choice colleges,
    and understand the college admissions process.
  • Lead workshops for students and families on admissions and personal development.
  • Plan enrichment activities and accompany students on college tours.
  • Stay ahead of admissions trends to give students the best competitive edge.
  • Build meaningful relationships with students, families, and community partners.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree required; two or more years working with high school or college students preferred.
  • Experience supporting first‑generation and economically disadvantaged students is strongly desired.
  • Strong communication, organization, and mentoring skills.
  • A team player who can also manage projects independently.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: $45,000–$52,000 (commensurate with experience).

  • 15 paid holidays (including Christmas week) + 3 weeks PTO annually.
  • Hybrid work schedule.
