Capital Markets Director

• Own Cap Center’s rate sheets, pricing engine, and margin strategy
• Set competitive pricing while protecting profitability
• Partner with Sales and Production on loan-winning and margin tradeoffs
• Run the lock desk and manage interest-rate risk in the pipeline
• Hedge positions using TBA/MBS and forward commitments on a pull-through-adjusted basis
• Execute loan sales and investor deliveries
• Manage best execution across the investor set to maximize gain on sale
• Minimize pair-off and fallout costs and maintain clean, timely delivery
• Own investor approvals and counter party relationships, including contracts and representations and warranties
• Set mortgage servicing rights strategy, including retain versus release, valuation, and servicing-rights sales
• Report position, margin, and execution performance to the CFO regularly
• Manage interest-rate and counter party risk within policy
• Partner with the CFO and Finance on funding and liquidity
• Partner with Production on pull-through inputs driving hedging
• Collaborate with Legal on investor contracts
• Collaborate with Compliance and Quality Control on repurchase and defect risk
• Report directly to the CFO

• 10+ years of capital markets or secondary marketing experience in mortgage lending
• Deep, hands-on pipeline hedging expertise, including TBA/MBS and forward commitments
• Track record of loan sales, best execution, and investor delivery that protected gain-on-sale margin
• Experience managing investor counter party relationships
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Fluency with pricing and hedge models
• People leadership experience, having built or led a secondary or capital markets desk
• Ability to handle confidential financial information discreetly
• Professionalism and integrity
• Preferred:
  Experience with MSR valuation and retain-versus-release strategy
• Preferred:
  Securitization or GSE delivery experience across Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Ginnie Mae
• Preferred:
  Fluency with pricing and hedge-advisory platforms such as Optimal Blue, Polly, or MCT
• Preferred:
  Familiarity with the Encompass loan origination system
• Preferred:
  East Coast multi-state lending experience

Demonstrates extensive expertise in capital markets and secondary marketing within mortgage lending, focusing on pipeline hedging, pricing strategies, and investor relationship management. Proven ability to analyze and report on financial performance while ensuring compliance and risk management.
