Help clients make confident decisions—and see your financial plans put into practice.
An established wealth-management firm is seeking a Financial Planner who enjoys both thoughtful planning and personal client relationships. You’ll work directly with existing clients, guide review conversations and coordinate the steps that move their financial goals forward.
Working alongside an experienced Lead Advisor, you’ll have the opportunity to deepen your planning expertise, take increasing responsibility for relationships and develop toward broader advisory leadership. No existing book of business or cold prospecting is required.
Why Consider This RoleStay involved from the first planning conversation through implementation.
Build lasting relationships with clients you can get to know over time.
Work closely with the Lead Advisor on increasingly complex financial decisions.
Expand your client-facing responsibilities as your capabilities grow.
Prepare financial reviews and lead discussions about clients’ goals, circumstances and priorities.
Develop clear recommendations covering retirement, investments, cash flow, tax considerations, insurance, estate planning and wealth transfer.
Update plans as clients’ lives change and maintain proactive communication between meetings.
Coordinate with service colleagues, custodians, investment teams and outside tax and legal professionals.
Document advice and next steps in the CRM, track open requests and ensure timely completion.
Contribute to team service standards and support the development of less-experienced colleagues.
Relevant wealth-management, financial-planning or RIA experience, ideally five or more years.
Experience with ongoing client relationships, meeting preparation and financial reviews, with the ability to take greater ownership of client conversations.
Working knowledge across the planning areas above and confidence explaining recommendations in practical terms.
Series 65, or Series 7 and 66, or the ability to obtain the required registration within an agreed timeframe.
Familiarity with financial-planning, custodial and CRM platforms.
Sound judgment, strong follow-through and careful handling of confidential client information.
CFP® certification is strongly preferred; CFA®, ChFC® or CPWA® credentials may also be considered. Experience serving affluent or high-net-worth individuals and families is a plus.
