Overview

Our Patient Coordinators are the backbone of our clinics and have a direct impact on patient experience. They work collaboratively with clinicians and colleagues to provide exceptional patient care and world-class customer service.

Position Details

Position: Patient Coordinator - Full-time
Location: Glen Allen, VA
Organization: Ivy Rehab for Kids, part of the Ivy Rehab Network

Responsibilities
  • Greet and check-in patients
  • Schedule appointments
  • Answer incoming phone calls
  • Verify insurance coverage
  • Obtain necessary authorization
  • Collect payments
  • Process new patients
  • Help the clinic maintain optimal performance
  • Collaborate with clinicians and colleagues to support patient experience and clinic goals

Position Qualifications
  • 2+ years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent time management and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with a drive to exceed patient expectations
  • Adaptability and positive attitude with fluctuating workloads
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Dedication to exceptional patient outcomes and quality of care
