JOB DESCRIPTION

Apex Systems is seeking a Lead Consultant to join our US & Practice team within the Solutions Delivery Organization. The Lead Consultant will play a pivotal role in designing, managing, and implementing applications that deliver the highest quality experience to our customers. We seek resourceful problem solvers with a passion for creating innovative solutions and the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.

Employees who are not actively deployed on a client project and reside within a one-hour commute of an Apex branch office are expected to work onsite at least once per week.

RESPONSIBLITIES

* Lead the design of Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other Salesforce offerings.

* Define architecture standards, patterns, and best practices for system integration, data management, and security.

* Create detailed solution design documents, data models, and integration frameworks.

* Partner with business leaders to understand requirements and align them with Salesforce capabilities.

* Translate business needs into technical specifications and roadmaps.

* Provide thought leadership and influence on Salesforce platform strategy and adoption.

* Oversee technical delivery across multiple Salesforce initiatives.

* Guide development teams by reviewing designs, ensuring adherence to best practices, and resolving technical challenges.

* Support testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.

* Ensure solutions comply with security, compliance, and data governance standards.

* Conduct architecture reviews and ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.

* Stay current on Salesforce releases, features, and ecosystem trends to drive innovation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* 10+ years of Software Development and Engineering Experience (SDLC)

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

* At least 3+ years of Salesforce implementation experience in an architect role, in addition to other Software Development experience.

* Proven track record leading large-scale Salesforce programs or enterprise implementations.

* Expertise in Salesforce core clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing), Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow.

* Expertise in Salesforce integration patterns and APIs.

* Practical experience with Salesforce security model, data modeling, and performance optimization.

* Familiarity with Dev Ops tools and CI/CD processes.
