* Job Description:

** Business Analyst/Data Analyst---Guidewire Billing Center
100% Remote6 month+ Contract Overview This  role is a hybrid Business Analyst / Data Analyst position supporting data feeds, customer requirements, and SQL-driven development. You'll partner closely with business stakeholders to understand needs, translate them into technical requirements, and develop high-quality SQL-based data solutions prior to handoff to engineering.

The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL and data analysis capabilities, experience working directly with business customers, and familiarity with insurance platforms, including
** Guidewire Billing Center**, to support policy, billing, and customer data integrations.

Key Responsibilities
* Engage with business stakeholders to understand problems, gather requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
* Design data feeds and produce clear, actionable data requirements and documentation.
* Develop SQL queries, logic, and transformations to support data pipelines, reporting, and downstream system integrations.
* Analyze and support data integrations involving
** Guidewire Billing Center**, customer billing data, policy information, and related insurance business processes.
* Partner with business and technical teams to define and validate data requirements for Guidewire-related enhancements, reporting, and data migration initiatives.
* Test and validate data feeds prior to engineering deployment.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with technical teams, engineering, and deployment teams to ensure smooth handoff and execution.
* Build strong, productive relationships with a diverse set of internal customers; adapt communication style based on audience.
* Act as a problem-solver and innovator, proactively identifying gaps and proposing solutions.
* Participate in PI Planning and other Agile/iterative planning sessions.

Required Skills & Experience
* 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or hybrid role.
* Highly proficient in SQL with the ability to independently develop, troubleshoot, and validate complex SQL queries and data transformations.
* Strong experience translating business needs into technical requirements.
* Demonstrated success working directly with customers and managing differing stakeholder personalities.
* Ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and effectively partner with both business and technical teams.
* Experience with data feed design, testing, validation, and documentation.
* Experience working with enterprise data integration and reporting solutions.

Preferred Skills
* Experience with
** Guidewire Billing Center**, including billing data structures, integrations, reporting, or downstream data consumption.
* Familiarity with Guidewire Insurance Suite platforms and insurance business processes.
* Databricks experience (strongly preferred and increasingly important to the team).
* Power BI experience (recent experience preferred).
* Experience supporting billing, customer account, policy administration, or financial data environments.
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
