Warehouse Lead

This role supports Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through the Amerisource Bergen business.

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay starting at $23.55/hr with potential for up to $26.68/hr based on shift differentials, performance incentives, and referral bonuses.

• Train warehouse associates on duties, responsibilities, and safe use of equipment according to SOPs.
• Observe performance to correct behaviors as necessary and provide day‑to‑day tactical direction and guidance to associates.
• Assist warehouse personnel with order filling, receiving, stocking, and returns, and may oversee shipping and general operations such as UPS and emergency orders.
• Perform advanced tasks and decision making with detailed knowledge of the position and procedures.
• Coordinate and recommend efficiencies for workflow and manage daily workloads.
• Manage inventory levels and use forklifts, reach trucks, or other motorized equipment to move inventory.
• Assist in supervision of the department, including assignment of work and covering manpower needs for associate vacations.
• Participate in associate concerns such as reporting and follow‑up to supervisor.
• Utilize computer system applications for proper operation and reports.
• Comply with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules, and state and DEA regulations.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

• Two (2) or more years of work experience.
• Proficiency operating reach truck, picker machines, pallet jack, forklift, etc.

• Ability to read and understand the English language, product descriptions, names, and shelf labels.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
• Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and ability to work with minimal guidance.
• Good overall understanding of distribution center workflow.
• Maintains a clean work area to prevent injuries.
• Uses good judgment to carry out detailed instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
• Team player with effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Maintains appropriate attendance and production standards.
