JOB DESCRIPTION

Apex is seeking a seasoned program manager with strong consultative skills to act as a Lead Consultant - Program Manager Internal Practice Consultant within our Consulting Practice as part of our Apex Systems Solutions Delivery Organization. This role is key in building and supporting our client engagement. The Program Manager will develop action plans to guide projects from inception to completion, ensuring overall deliverables to the client are met for an application modernization engagement.

This position involves collaboration across multiple departments and teams to ensure project success. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of organizational operating models, various Agile frameworks, best practices, and diverse project methodologies. They should demonstrate a passion for mentoring, clear communication, and tactful interaction with personnel at all levels, while creating a compelling vision of the project's end goals.

This role will be responsible for managing client deliverables and contributing to our internal consulting practice. This position requires 3-4 days onsite with the client. Employees who are not actively deployed on a

client project and reside within a one-hour commute of an Apex branch office are expected to work onsite at least once per week.

RESPONSIBLITIES

* Build and Maintain Relationships:
Establish strong relationships with clients, industry professionals, and technical communities. Represent Apex Systems as leaders at industry and professional events, while developing and maintaining a robust internal and external customer relationship.

* Demonstrate Expertise:
Exhibit technical knowledge, skills, and effective professional consulting abilities. Foster trust and respect among internal and external stakeholders and model collaborative teamwork.

* Organizational Evaluation and Strategy:
Evaluate the culture and structure of the organization. Collaborate with client staff to establish a long-term vision and guiding principles, identify obstacles and impacts of initiatives, and create strategies to ensure successful implementation.

Collaboration:

Work closely with clients, internal team members, and executive stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.

* Roadmap and Reporting:
Develop an engagement roadmap and related reporting for client delivery. Oversee and ensure all deliverables are met in alignment with the Statement of Work with a focus on exceptional delivery. Develop and track metrics to evaluate the performance of the project, including KPIs and project success metrics. Create workflows, dashboards, and reports to provide the team with meaningful operational and performance metrics.

Create and present bi-weekly and quarterly project status reports for clients.
