Director of Missional Engagement Virginia Conference of the UMC

The Virginia Conference of The United Methodist Church is seeking a collaborative, mission-focused leader to serve as Director of Missional Engagement. This full-time position supports and strengthens the Conference’s work in church development and revitalization, community engagement, and missional partnerships across Virginia.

The Director will work closely with Conference leaders, districts, local churches, ministry partners, and community organizations to connect people and resources, strengthen collaborative ministries, and help congregations pursue renewed vitality and deeper engagement with their communities. The position also provides staff leadership and support to the Church Development Team, Missional Ministries Board, Partnerships of Hope, community engagement groups, and ministry and provisional ministry partners.
