About the Opportunity
Nurse America is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our growing per diem staffing pool supporting a premier residential treatment center in Glen Allen, Virginia.
If you're looking for greater flexibility and a supportive work environment outside of traditional acute care, this opportunity offers the ability to choose your schedule while making a meaningful impact on patients' recovery.
Behavioral health experience is not required. Nurses with strong clinical skills from a variety of healthcare settings are encouraged to apply.
Shift Availability
- Flexible Per Diem Scheduling
- Day and Night Shifts Available
- Weekday and Weekend Opportunities
- Choose shifts based on your availability
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR.
- Promote a safe and therapeutic residential environment.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient care.
- Active, unrestricted Virginia RN license or Compact (NLC) license.
- Current BLS certification.
- One to two years of nursing experience is preferred.
- Experience in med-surg, behavioral health, rehabilitation, long-term care, or related settings is beneficial.
- Excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
- Must successfully complete required background screening and drug testing.
- Competitive hourly pay.
