WHAT YOU'LL DO - HOMES CONSTRUCTION INTERN
* Complete and assist in supervision of routine day-to-day assigned tasks of the homebuilding process
* Assist with maintaining community appearance according to established standards including inventory and model homes and site cleanliness
* Observe Construction Manager during customer service situations
* Develop a working knowledge of all established construction related processes and systems
* Understand and report current statuses of homes under construction within assigned community
WHAT YOU'LL DO - REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT INTERN
* Review site layout plans and construction plans for revenue and cost estimates
* Participate in site visits, collect and organize data, and help prepare feasibility reports outlining risks and benefits.
* Assist with financial modeling of potential development projects
* Gain knowledge and exposure to the acquisition and planning phase of real estate development
REQUIREMENTS
* Rising Junior or Senior currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Real Estate, or a related field
* Interest in real estate development, urban planning, construction management, or project management
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment with multiple competing priorities.
* Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
* Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license
The pay rate for this position is $20/hr.
