Job SummaryOur client is seeking a Senior Java Developer to support a mission‑critical enterprise application. The role focuses on maintaining and enhancing an existing monolithic application while supporting its transition to a microservice architecture. The candidate should be proactive, self‑driven, able to work independently, and enjoy troubleshooting and problem‑solving in a complex enterprise environment.
Responsibilities- Maintain and enhance existing monolithic Java code.
- Support the migration from monolithic to microservices.
- Participate in on‑call rotation after the training period.
- 12+ years of Java development experience in enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting and modernizing legacy/monolithic applications.
- Strong experience with Java 8‑17, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST/SOAP web services, JPA2/Hibernate, Kafka, MongoDB, Web Logic, Oracle, and SQL Server.
- Front‑end experience with React, Next.js, and Type Script.
- Experience with Web Logic 14+, Git, Gradle, IntelliJ, and Oracle 19c.
- Experience writing unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
- Familiarity with Domain‑Driven Design and microservices architecture.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Azure Dev Ops.
- Containerization technologies with Docker and Kubernetes.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
