12‑month contract with potential extensions up to 36 months; onsite 5 days per week; requires on‑call rotation every 12‑16 weeks after training.

Our client is seeking a Senior Java Developer to support a mission‑critical enterprise application. The role focuses on maintaining and enhancing an existing monolithic application while supporting its transition to a microservice architecture. The candidate should be proactive, self‑driven, able to work independently, and enjoy troubleshooting and problem‑solving in a complex enterprise environment.

• Maintain and enhance existing monolithic Java code.
• Support the migration from monolithic to microservices.
• Participate in on‑call rotation after the training period.

• 12+ years of Java development experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting and modernizing legacy/monolithic applications.
• Strong experience with Java 8‑17, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST/SOAP web services, JPA2/Hibernate, Kafka, MongoDB, Web Logic, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Front‑end experience with React, Next.js, and Type Script.
• Experience with Web Logic 14+, Git, Gradle, IntelliJ, and Oracle 19c.
• Experience writing unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Familiarity with Domain‑Driven Design and microservices architecture.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

• Azure Dev Ops.
• Containerization technologies with Docker and Kubernetes.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
