Position Summary
The primary function of a delivery driver is to safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies, federal and state regulations, and to deliver all freight undamaged while providing a world‑class customer service experience.
Duties & Responsibilities- Inspect truck and trailer for defects to ensure safe operation.
- Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites.
- Deliver materials to assigned areas as directed by customers, prioritizing personal safety and the safety of others.
- Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Report all accidents involving the driver or company equipment.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) – minimum ClassB license;
ClassA preferred. - Clear three‑year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
- Demonstrate integrity, trust, and servant leadership by putting others first and valuing diverse perspectives.
- Work independently and collaboratively; lead, execute, or delegate as needed.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships at every level, including the Field Operations and Field Support Center teams.

- Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing, to coworkers and customers.
- Remain in a stationary position while driving a commercial vehicle 40% of the time.
- Lift heavy building materials up to 80lbs. for loading and unloading.
- Frequent movement of materials weighing up to 80lbs. while unloading flatbeds.
- Constantly move from unloading materials from a commercial vehicle onto a job site.
- Operate a commercial vehicle and/or boom vehicle as required.
- Position self to unload materials from flatbed or boom vehicles.
- Judge distance while delivering materials and operating a boom.
- Communicate with management and coworkers and exchange accurate information.
- Work outdoors during deliveries.
- Prioritize job sites and deadlines.
- Manage stress based on customer deadlines.
- Multitask effectively.
- Receive and act on information and directions.
- Communicate solutions promptly when problems arise.
- Exercise sound judgment.
