Position Summary
The primary function of a delivery driver is to safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies, Federal and State regulations, and to deliver all freight undamaged. Work as a team player to deliver, load/unload materials while providing a world‑class customer service experience.
Duties & Responsibilities- Inspect truck/trailer for defects to ensure safe operation.
- Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites.
- Deliver materials to assigned area as directed by the customer, prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you.
- Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
- Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment.
- Lifts heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs for load/unload.
- Provide excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) – minimum Class B License, Class A strongly preferred.
- Clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

Physical Requirements- Remain in a stationary position while driving a commercial vehicle 40% of the time.
- Lift heavy building materials up to 80 lbs during loading/unloading.
- Frequently move materials weighing up to 80 lbs while unloading flatbed.
- Operate commercial motor vehicle and/or boom vehicle.
- Judge distance while delivering materials and/or operating boom.
- Communicate with management and coworkers to exchange accurate information.
- Work outdoors while making deliveries.
- Prioritize job sites and deadlines.
- Manage stress depending on customer’s deadline.
- Multitask and receive information and directions.
- Communicate solutions if problems occur.
- Demonstrate a high degree of sound judgement.
The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $23.51 to $29.90 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime based on business needs. Depending on the role, associates may also be eligible for performance‑based bonus programs, commissions, car allowance or automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
