Accounts Receivable Specialist

Beacon Hill is working with a client who is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment, enjoys working directly with customers, and can confidently manage account issues while maintaining strong professional relationships. The right candidate will bring a solid accounts receivable background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

• Manage high-volume accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment posting, cash applications, and collections.
• Contact customers regarding outstanding balances and resolve billing discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
• Research and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on delinquent accounts.
• Maintain accurate account records and documentation.
• Work closely with internal departments to resolve customer concerns and support billing operations.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, account reconciliations, and reporting.
• Utilize Excel to analyze data and support day-to-day AR functions.
