Customer Service Representative – National Target

National Target is seeking an exceptional, customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative
.

For decades, National Target has supplied quality shooting targets and related products to shooting ranges, law enforcement agencies, training organizations, retailers, distributors, and individual shooters across the country. We are looking for someone who takes pride in learning our products, enjoys helping customers, and wants to become a trusted resource for the people who rely on National Target.

You will become a National Target product expert—helping customers determine which products best fit their needs, answering questions, processing orders, resolving issues, and making sure orders move smoothly from the customer through production and fulfillment.

The right person will genuinely enjoy talking with customers and have a passion for learning the shooting sports, range, training, and target products we sell. You don't need to know everything on day one, but you should have the curiosity and drive to become an expert.

• Receive and process customer orders by phone, email, and online channels.
• Develop a strong understanding of National Target's complete product line, including product sizes, styles, applications, packaging, quantities, and customer types.
• Help customers identify the right product for their specific application
  , rather than simply taking an order.
• Answer customer questions regarding products, pricing, availability, lead times, shipping, and order status.
• Manage customer orders from initial inquiry through production, fulfillment, and shipment.
• Proactively communicate with customers when there are questions, delays, substitutions, backorders, or other issues affecting their orders.
• Coordinate with production, inventory, shipping, sales, and management to keep orders moving efficiently.
• Maintain accurate customer, order, pricing, and product information in company systems.
• Research and resolve customer complaints and order issues quickly and professionally.
• Build strong relationships with National Target customers through responsiveness, product knowledge, honesty, and dependable follow-through.
• Assist customers with repeat orders and recommend appropriate products when their needs change.
• Develop familiarity with our different customer segments, including ranges, law enforcement, training organizations, retailers, distributors, and individual shooters.
• Look for opportunities to help existing customers discover additional National Target products that may better serve their needs.
• Follow up with customers when appropriate to ensure they received their order and are satisfied with their experience.
• Represent the customer's interests internally while balancing inventory, production, shipping, and operational requirements.
• Take ownership of customer questions and problems and see them through to resolution.
• Other duties as assigned.
