, a Pre-K(2)–8th grade Catholic school in Glen Burnie, Maryland, is seeking a part-time
Instructional Assistant (IA) for the 2026–2027 school year.
IA's play a vital role in supporting instruction by working directly with teachers and students in the classroom. Hours are subject to change, but punctual attendance is required Monday through Friday, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The ideal candidate is dependable, student-centered, organized, flexible, and committed to supporting both teachers and students in a faith-filled learning environment. Please note that this position will work 20-24 hours per week.
Essential Functions
Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and classroom management.
Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students as directed by the teacher.
Help prepare instructional materials and resources for lessons and activities.
Supervise students during transitions, recess, lunchtime, and other non-instructional periods.
Reinforce positive behavior and classroom expectations.
Assist with classroom organization, cleaning, and setup as needed.
Position Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting preferred.
Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude when working with students.
Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
Pay Rate: $17.00, Hourly
